Vaccine Delivery

Contraceptives and other vaccines are delivered to the animal while in the Hub via a low velocity dart, which startles, but does not stop the animal from feeding. The darts are tethered to the Hub, enabling appropriate disposal.

Vaccines are stored in the Hub at the optimal temperature to ensure dose integrity when delivered. The patented system is designed to maintain a temperature range of 34° to 42° Fahrenheit/0-5.56° Celcius in the vaccines to preserve efficacy and avoid waste. Should there be a power interruption, the system’s solar-charged battery bank is designed to give priority to vaccine temperature control so vaccines stay in the optimal temperature range for delivery.
